Beverley A. Gordon, Founder/Producer/CEO

Beverley Gordon is an award-winning producer who is CEO and owner of independent production company BrownBag Pictures based in Los Angeles. Beverley produced feature film ABOUT SCOUT a coming-of-age dramedy directed by Laurie Weltz and starring India Ennenga, Ellen Burstyn, Danny Glover and Jane Seymour. It was released in 2016 and is now streaming VOD. Additional producing credits include features CHUTNEY POPCORN directed by Nisha Ganatra; THE OTHER BROTHER directed by Mandel Holland and Student Academy Award winning short WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON directed by Alonso Mayo.

Her upcoming movies include low-rider musical HIT THE SWITCH, horror/thriller LORD OF THE WOODS, music drama FORGIVE THIS TOWN, romantic-comedies SINGLETINI and PINK, WHITE and BLUE, heart-warming Christmas story THE ORNAMENT and TV series THE SECRET OF STARLIGHT LANDING and FUNERALS BY FRANCIE.

Beverley is an alum of Tribeca Film Institute’s All Access Program. She was selected for the prestigious Producers Guild of America Diversity Workshop and was one of ten producers worldwide selected to participate in the PGA Producers Showcase.

Beverley is a graduate of Harvard University, Tulane University School of Law and the American Film Institute. She was born in Antigua, grew up in New York and currently resides in Los Angeles. She enjoys New York Times crossword puzzles and volunteers with the Union Rescue Mission.
